Before you begin

• You should have an existing Google Cloud Platform account.
• You should have enabled billing for your GCP account.

To start working with Google BigQuery firstly, you need to enable BigQuery API. Below are the steps that explain how to do this.

Steps to enable BigQuery API

1. Go to the Google Cloud Platform Console.

2. Open the console left side menu and click APIs & Services. Select Enabled APIs & services from the list. 

3. On the top menu click + ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES.

4. Enter “BigQuery” in a search field and select BigQuery API from the list. 

5. Click ENABLE to enable BigQuery API.
