Getting started
- Inside the admin panel navigate to the Data Sources page and click + NEW on the top right corner.
- Choose Snapchat from the list.
- Click Click to connect with Snapchat and go through the authentication and setup flow.
- Select the organisation and account from which you would like to import the cost data.
- Click Save.
UTM tagging best practices
The Snapchat API does not allow the extraction of UTM tagging structure. Therefore, if you would like to analyse Snapchat campaigns at a campaign/term/content level, you need to implement the following UTM tagging template.
utm_source=snapchat&utm_medium=paid-social&utm_campaign={{campaign.id}}&utm_term={{adset.id}}&utm_content={{ad.id}}
The UTM source and UTM medium tags used in the template must match the ones entered in the relevant fields of the data source configuration.
